Cairns Colonial Club Resort

Cairns Colonial Club Resort is an award winning resort situated 6 kilometres outside the vibrant Cairns city centre. Set in 10.5 acres of award winning lush tropical gardens, the resort is the perfect location to explore the famous Great Barrier Reef and other local attractions. This Cairns accommodation is perfect for those visitors who simply want to relax and soak up the Tropical North Queensland atmosphere. It also caters for those who desire an activity filled holiday in the beautiful environment that has made this region famous.

Cairns Colonial Club Resort will be commencing a $5 million refurbishment program of the resort. This program is proposed to take place over the next 24 months, with completion approximately June 2009. Jardines Restaurant will be closed from April - June 2008. This will include a full soft refurbishment of the Standard, Colonial and Studio Rooms, an upgrade of the playground equipment, new furnishings for the Poolside Cafe and Bar and Jardines Restaurant. During the refurbishment works, clients will not experience any inconvenience.

Standard Room: Bedding is 1 Double bed and 1 Single bed. Maximum room capacity is 2 adults and children.

Colonial Room: Bedding is 1 Queen bed and 1 Single bed. Maximum room capacity is 3 adults and children.

Studio room: Bedding is 1 Queen bed and 2 Single divans OR 2 Single beds, 1 single divan and 1 double sofa bed.

Superior Rooms: These larger rooms also feature a private balcony or courtyard overlooking the pool or gardens. Bedding is 2 Queen beds. Maximum room capacity is 2 adults.

Dining

Three restaurants and four bars offer a range of taste sensations on the resort.

Jardines Restaurant: Jardines is a relaxed and intimate dining experience from an innovative menu. The restaurants ambience reflects the heritage of a bygone era in Colonial North Queensland history. Dine on the wide, airy verandahs or in air-conditioned comfort. Either way, Jardines is an exceptional dining experience.

Homestead Restaurant: offers a fantastic breakfast buffet with a vast selection of fruits, cereals, breads, juices, pastries, eggs, sausages, hash browns and much, much more. It is available in two styles, Tropical Continental or the ultimate Full Cooked. For dinner, choose from our buffet with a full range of soups, pasta, breads, salads and fruits. This is complimented by our comprehensive a-la-carte menu, offering a great range of seafood and local game dishes.

Poolside Cafe: Open for lunch and dinner Poolside Cafe has a great brasserie-style menu that includes gourmet burgers and sandwiches, delicious salads, seafood and pasta dishes. For a refreshing drink at the end of a day, you can't go past the Poolside Cafe and Bar for cocktails that are out of this world!! The Poolside Cafe also offers a take-away outlet open from 10am to 10pm.
